Spokespersons brief the group on current issues and present the group's views at committee meetings

Following the County Council elections on 5th May, the Liberal Democrats on Surrey County Council re-elected Hazel Watson as Group Leader, with Ian Beardsmore as her deputy. Colin Taylor chairs the group and John Doran is treasurer.

Spokespersons have been announced for the Council's eight Select Committees as follows:

Details of all committee responsibilities are included against each councillor's name on our "Get to know us" page. Other appointments, including any as council representatives on other organisations, will be added there as and when they are confirmed.
